About

I am excited to teach you and/or your child to swim with tried a true methodology I have used for many years. Last year, over 100 students learned to swim in a matter of a few days. I am looking forward to seeing the same success for you.

A little about me….I grew up swimming as a child and being around water has always been a huge part of my life. As a teen, I was a lifeguard and captain of the swim team. In college (1998), I became a WSI certified instructor. I taught lessons in the various places that I have lived in Loganville, Snellville, Athens and Flowery Branch, Georgia. Teaching children to swim is what inspired me years ago to become a full time educator. I received my doctorate from Liberty University in Education. As time has passed, one thing has remained consistent- my passion for water instruction. I have continued to teach children and adults to swim after school and during the summers.

My goal is for swimmers to have a positive experience in the water and show them the keys we all naturally have for buoyancy. We can easily float and swim with a gentle touch of tailored instruction and muscle memory. It is my pleasure to use each swimmer’s personal strengths to create an individualized lesson. By understanding the fundamentals of the water, swimmers create a mindset that will let them swim independently.

Watching someone go from uncertainty in the water to greatness inspires me to keep instructing. It is still as rewarding today as it was 20 years ago. To a new swimmer, lessons mean more than swimming. They mean everything! I love to watch students of all ages have their breakthrough moment again and again and again. They mean the world for confidence, and even more importantly, for safety. If you or your children are not certain you can swim without dependence, I am here to help you meet your goals.
